Tacoma Alumnae Chapter’s Scholarship funds provide support for students seeking tuition assistance to study at vocational-technical institutes, or two-year of four-year colleges or universities accredited in the United States.

The Chapter’s primary focus is to assist in reducing financial barriers for students to achieve their academic dreams. Tacoma Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated in partnership with Tacoma Delta Foundation, during the last ten years, has awarded over $80,000 in scholarships to support our future leaders.

Tacoma Alumnae Chapter works directly with a selection committee to award scholarships to deserving students.

Tacoma Alumnae Chapter awards scholarships with the purpose of granting student applicants entering college to continuing their academic programs. Students must meet both academic and community service requirements. The current Scholarship year is available now. The deadline is Mar 01, 2021. All other scholarships will be available beginning August 2021.

THE 2021 RED + WHITE GALA EVENT
The Tacoma Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated invite you to our first virtual “Red and White Scholarship Gala.” The virtual Red and White Gala will take place on March 20, 2021, where guests can bid on several auction/raffle items throughout the day (starting at 10 AM). You can view auction items online at www.tacomadeltafoundation.org. Activities will be held from 7-9 pm (PST), with the raffle drawings being held throughout the event.
